AG Hotels Group is looking for a hardworking and confident individual to join our kitchen team at Lakeland Hotel in Kendal.

Location: Kendal, Lake District | The Lakeland Hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and workstations.
- Wash and sanitize all cooking tools, utensils, dishes, and equipment.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as peeling, chopping, and prepping ingredients when needed.
- Remove waste and ensure proper disposal according to health and safety standards.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining the kitchen for events and service periods.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Ensure kitchen areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist the kitchen team in any other duties as required by the Chef.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on physical tasks is essential.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety procedures and regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts between 8:00 AM – 10 PM, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
