Ivy Suite comes with a contemporary modern area, a brand-new private bar, and a built-in dance floor. The Sala Room is located on the first floor and has Victorian splendour and character with ornately decorated ceilings, stunning stained-glass windows, a private bar and a working fireplace. From the moment you see our ballrooms and meet our wedding team, you know you are about to encounter one of life’s special experiences at The Crown Hotel.

The food was fantastic, and the dinner service was excellent. The room looked stunning which I know lots of effort went into. The general organisation of the entire day was fab i.e. getting people from the coaches, checking in, moving rooms etc.

The night went absolutely fabulous. The staff were all sensational and the room worked perfectly for our event. There were a lot of compliments about the space and the hotel. It was a fabulous night, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I really appreciated that all the staff introduced themselves as their shifts started, the bar was generously extended in the evening, and they did a fantastic job bringing the cakes down. I really appreciate all your help in organising the party. It was difficult doing it from Australia and I was nervous, but I honestly feel I couldn’t have picked a better venue! It was exactly the type of weekend and party Mark wanted. Thank you!
