Night Receptionist

We are currently seeking an adept and confident Night Receptionist to join our team at The Crown London Hotel. We are in search of an individual who embodies our commitment to prioritising guest satisfaction and exemplifies a fervent dedication to customer service and hospitality.

In the role of Night Receptionist, you will undertake the pivotal responsibility of ensuring the seamless operation of front desk procedures, conducting meticulous fire safety and security checks, and creating an environment where guests experience utmost convenience throughout their stay.

Position: Night Receptionist
Reports to: FOH Manager
Location: London

Key Responsibilities 

  • Welcome guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, and providing assistance with any inquiries or requests during these times.
  • Maintain cleanliness in both guest rooms and public areas.
  • Provide coverage for all housekeeping responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the premises during night time hours.
  • Participate in thorough shift handovers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Handle any unforeseen issues or challenges that may arise during the night.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

Prerequisites 

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and basic computer skills
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and demeaner
