Key Responsibilities
- To host breakfast making sure guests are greeted with a warm smile.
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guests on selection and promote additional sales accordingly.
- Set up all front-of-house food areas prior to service periods, ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and accessible for the guests.
- Serve food to the customers ensuring fast and courteous guest service.
- Ensuring all health and hygiene standards are followed.
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies.
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the Duty Manager/ Head Chef.
- Collect feedback from the guests and ensure any requests/issues are managed accordingly.
Prerequisites
- Ability to work independently
- A successful background working in the hospitality/food and beverage environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The breakfast shifts start at 6 a.m. The candidate should be fully flexible to work on weekends. The candidate must be based within 5 miles of the hotel.
