AG Hotels Group is seeking an experienced and confident Food and Beverage Host to join the team at our Lakeland Hotel in Kendal. As a Food and Beverage Host, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be the face of our hotel’s food and beverage offerings, ensuring guests receive top-notch customer service and enjoy a memorable visit. Location: Kendal, Lake District | The Lakeland Hotel
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
- Set up of all front of house food areas prior to service periods, ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and accessible to the guests
- Serve food to the customers ensuring a fast and courteous guest service
- Ensuring all health and hygiene standards are followed
- Clean tables, complete closing duties and re-stock tableware and other supplies
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the Manager / Head Chef
- Collect feedback from the guest and reporting any complaints or issues.
- Serving in the pub and events at the hotel
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently
- A successful background working in hospitality/food and beverage environment
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
