Diggerland Yorkshire is a perfect destination for an action-packed family day out in Castleford. With twenty different rides and drives, this construction-themed park is an ideal place for you to experience something exciting and unique. People of all ages can ride, drive, and operate real diggers that too in safe and family-friendly settings.

For the little visitors between 80cm-90cm in height, there is Diggerland Train, a Dig-a-Round carousel, Safari ride, Go-Karts and much more to enjoy.  For adventure-lover adults, there’s the Spindizzy (not recommended to try straight after lunch), a super Komatsu PC210 excavator, a giant 22-tonne machine, having a specially adapted bucket with a seating unit attached to the digger arm.

The park also boasts of a Goodie Store where visitors can mark their day with a memorable souvenir as well as buy gifts, toys, and other merchandise. After a long adventure, you can visit cafeterias that offer a wide selection of hot and cold snacks, meals, and beverages.

By car – Leave the M62 at Junction 31. Follow the A655 towards Castleford for half a mile. Keep going until you see the signposted DIGGERLAND entrance on the left.

Public transport – The nearest railway station is Castleford – approximately 1 and a half miles from the theme park. From there, you will find the 184, 185 & 189 buses, operated by “West Yorkshire Metro”. You can catch a bus from the nearby bus station to Diggerland.
